Where does chocolate come from?

Chocolate as we know it is a processed food derived from the seeds of the cacao tree (theobroma cacao). This tree has a height of 4-10 meters which in ancient times only existed in the forests of Central and South America. But over time, cacao trees are cultivated in several countries.

Indonesia is the 3rd largest cocoa producing country in the world, contributing 13% of the world’s demand. This is supported by the geographical location of Indonesia which is very suitable for cocoa cultivation. Indonesia has been exporting chocolate for a long time, so the quality of chocolate in Indonesia is of the best quality.
